Chutikarn and Niracha value sophisticated simplicity and practicality, and that's exactly what they decided to base their bag brand, Lapin, on. They wanted to make their own bags which would satisfy everyday use, and being something that they were only doing for themselves, all other unecessary details such as funky patterning or embellishing were cut out to make way for a focus on the functional aspect of things. Surprisingly, this practical quality proved to be quite a hit.
Lapin means 'rabbit' in French, and playing on the rabbit theme, the pair say that they hope to increase their production scales and distribution channels by *leaps* and bounds.
