Faidhan and Nurrachmat, champions of the geek community, don’t think much of cool and edgy brand images. They believe in “something stupid, something cheeky. Something comedic … much easier for people to digest”.
Targeting the geeky/ toys/ manga/ sci-fi market, an area few brands are currently venturing into, Faidhan and Nurrachmat hope to grow KITC into a more sustainable and mature company, systematically and financially. Other aspirations are for KITC to sponsor an annual geek show where the geek community gathers, organize kaiju wrestling shows and to exhibit a geek expo.
“In a pipe dream, we belief in five years we will have our own androids to do our business and chores, export some of our products to Mars, and have Doraemon (The Gadget), Master Yoda (The Knowledge), and Bruce Wayne (The Money) as our business partners,” also mentioned the quirky pair.
